SteelHome (China) Steel Price Index (SHCNSI) was 85.48 points (3,697 yuan) on December 18, 2025, up 0.3 point (12 yuan) from the previous trading day.

Construction steel: 20mm HRB400 rebar averaged at 3,225 yuan/t in 28 domestic markets, up 20 yuan/t from previous trading day.

Medium plate: 20mm Q235 medium plate price averaged at 3,429 yuan/t in 28 domestic markets, up 5 yuan/t from previous trading day.

HRC: 5.75mm Q235 HRC average price was 3,310 yuan/t in 28 domestic markets, up 11 yuan/t from previous trading day.

CRC: Average price of 1.0mm SPCC CRC was 3,895 yuan/t in 28 domestic markets, up 5 yuan/t from previous trading day.

Ex-works price of steel billet in Qian’an rose by 10 yuan to 2,950-2,960 yuan/t on December 18. Spot resources were priced 3,030 yuan/t, up 20 yuan/t. In the short term, billet market prices are expected to run weakly.
